
Aida McGugan is a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT). An interest Classical Dressage and a desire to improve her balance and coordination when riding initially brought her to lessons in 1992. The tangible difference the Technique made in all aspects of her life inspired her to become a teacher. She completed a three-year full-time 1600 hour teacher training program at Alexander Technique Ann Arbor under the direction of Jane Heirich. A former software developer and development manager for 24 years, Aida is well acquainted with the demands on busy professionals. By applying principles of the Technique in the workplace both she and her team consistently won awards for excellence. Aida is also a registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist who brings her working knowledge of the body’s intrinsic wholeness and subtle healing forces to her teaching practice.
